IIHS Names ‘Top Safety’ Picks in SUV and Crossover Segments - Industry News

The Insurance Institute of Highway Safety selected the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the 2010 Chevrolet Equinox, the 2010 GMC Terrain, and the 2011 Kia Sorento to receive its “Top Safety Pick” awards in the mid-size SUV category.

2011 Toyota Sienna and Avalon Earn IIHS Safety Awards - Industry News

To qualify for the Insurance Institute for High Safety’s award, a vehicle must earn the highest rating of “good” in the IIHS’ front, side, rollover, and rear impact tests and be equipped with electronic stability control.
