Ram Improves 1500 EcoDiesel Pickup's Fuel Efficiency

Ram Truck has improved the fuel efficiency of its 1500 EcoDiesel pickup with a model that edges highway fuel economy for full-size pickups closer to 30 mpg highway — a bar once thought unattainable.

Sales of diesel passenger cars increased 25 percent during the first six months of 2014, while sales of gasoline cars grew 4.2 percent and hybrid growth turned negative, according to new data.
