GM Says Spark EV Will Be Capable of 20-Minute Fast Charge

For charging, GM plans to offer an SAE combo charger for the Spark, which allows DC fast charging of up to 80% of the vehicle’s full charge in approximately 20 minutes.

GM Boosts 2013-MY Volt EV-Only Range and Overall Fuel Efficiency

The charge time for the 2013 model-year Volt will be longer than the 2012 model, due to the greater EV-only mode range, with a full charge taking 4.25 hours on a 240V charging system and 10.5 hours on a 120V system.
