Torrance, Calif.-based Landi Renzo has gained approval from the Environmental Protection Agency to produce bi-fuel and dedicated compressed natural gas (CNG) versions of Ford's F-250 and F-350 6.2L V-8 engine with the gaseous prep engine package, the vehicle modifier announced.

The certifications apply to the 2017 model year. Ford redesigned its Super Duty trucks in 2017.

The vehicles will be available through Landi Renzo USA's distribution network. The company has begun taking orders.

Landi Renzo sells about 1 million alternative fuel CNG systems annually.
