The Environmental Protection Agency has certified AGA Systems' bi-fuel and dedicated compressed natural gas fueling system for General Motors' 2018 lineup of Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 2500, 3500, and 4500 trucks, the company announced.

AGA's EcoSync HD CNG system would be used by a vehicle modifier converting a factory truck to run partially or fully on CNG fuel. The trucks must be equipped with the 6.0-liter V-8 engine that's typically fueled by gasoline.

AGA gained certification in late 2016 for the 2017 models of these trucks.
