Vehicle thefts declined by 3.3% in 2011 compared to 2010 bringing the 2011 FBI estimate to more than 700,000 stolen vehicles.

Report Shows Top 10 Vehicle Theft Locations in U.S.

Out of the top 10 places where thefts occurred, seven of 10 are in California, two in Washington and one in South Carolina, according to data from the National Insurance Crime Bureau.

CA Governor Vetoes Bill That Would Have Raised 'Texting While Driving' Fines

SACRAMENTO, CA - The bill would have increased the fine for a first hands-free or texting while driving offense to $50 and to $100 for subsequent offenses.
