A study from Volvo Trucks reveals that fleet truck drivers who eat regularly and more healthily have a better response time than truck drivers who don't, according to FleetDirectory.co.uk

The study, conducted by Mette-Marie Linding, evaluated 23 drivers who maintained a healthy and nutritious diet, and 23 drivers who continued on their regular diet, for 12 days, using a simulator.

According to the results, on average, drivers who maintain a healthy diet, had a reaction time that was 16 percent faster than the drivers from the other group. Additionally, drivers in the "healthy" group noticed they were less irritable and more satisfied as a result of their regular mealtime routines.
