FCCC Increases Warranty Coverage for Walk-in Vehicles

May 06, 2010

Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation (FCCC), a walk-in van industry leader, will now offer a three-year/50,000-mile extended service warranty on all chassis in its WIV product line.

"FCCC is motivated to provide the highest quality walk-in van chassis options and top warranty coverage in the industry for our customers," said Dave Hoover, senior manager of FCCC customer support. "Walk-in van fleet owners can expect the same first-class customer support from FCCC, now with increased warranty coverage."

The new warranty will cover the entire FCCC WIV product line, including the popular MT-45 chassis and alternative-power chassis, like the new all-electric chassis and the hybrid-electric chassis. The new warranty coverage was expanded from the original two-year/24,000-mile coverage, and will go into effect immediately for all chassis powered by EPA 2010 engines.

"True to our 'Driven by You' tag line, the new warranty coverage is another testament to FCCC's commitment to our valued customers," said Jonathan Randall, director of FCCC sales and marketing. "At FCCC, our chassis and services are specifically designed with the end-user in mind. We want our customers to feel secure, knowing they have the best support in the industry. FCCC is there for them as a supplier and as a business partner."

Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation manufactures premium chassis for the motorhome, delivery walk-in van, and school bus and shuttle bus markets. Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation is a subsidiary of Daimler Trucks North America LLC, a Daimler company.
