The 2013 model-year Chevrolet Malibu Eco, 2012-MY Toyota Prius c and the 2012-MY BMW 3 Series Sedan have all drawn the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s (IIHS) Top Safety Pick award for their performance in front, side, rollover and rear-impact evaluations.

The Malibu Eco is a redesigned model. The 2012-MY Malibu continues to be sold and also is a Top Safety Pick.

The Prius c is a new model and joins the Prius and Prius v as IIHS award winners.

The BMW 3 Series Sedan is all-new for 2012. Features include dynamic stability control, front, side and head protection airbags, a full-color heads-up display, lane departure warning, a rearview camera system with top-view and a blind-spot warning system. IIHS requires dynamic stability control as its criteria for naming a vehicle a Top Safety Pick.
