Mark Cummings has joined the Subaru of America fleet team as national commercial accounts manager. Cummings brings more than 15 years of experience in the automotive industry. Most of his career has been spent in fleet business development.

His fleet experience includes stints both at well-established OEMs and with a start-up electric vehicle manufacturer where he built a successful commercial fleet sales program from inception to launch.

Cummings said that his focus has always been to focus on solid customer relations and is looking forward to promoting the Subaru brand to fleet customers who are looking for a safe vehicle that has the benefits of an AWD with the fuel economy comparable to that of front wheel drive options.

Cummings will be based in the western U.S., focusing on business development efforts in the region and nationally for Subaru. He will report to Charles Reed, Subaru's manager of national fleet sales operations.

Cummings received his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Utah and an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
