Ford will begin offering a new XLT Sport Appearance Package for its 2017 Explorer this summer that brings interior and exterior enhancements to Ford's best-selling SUV.

Standard XLT features for the 2017 Explorer XLT Sport Appearance Package include a 3.5L V-6 engine, Intelligent Access with a push-to-start button, 10-way power driver’s seat with lumbar support, SYNC 3, and LED fog lamps.

Exterior updates to the 2017 Ford Explorer XLT Sport Appearance Package include 20-inch magnetic gray wheels, dark earth grey leather front seats, and an Explorer hood badge.

The addition of this package expands Explorer offerings to six models (base, XLT, XLT Sport Appearance, Limited, Sport, and Platinum).

Ford Escape buyers will be able to get the Sport Appearance Package for 2017 starting in the spring, the package will be available for Escape SE and Titanium models.
