<p>A Ford F-150 is being assembled at the automaker's Kansas City Assembly Plant. Ford is adding 2,000 jobs to meet F-150 demand and to build the all-new Ford Transit.</p>

Ford is adding 900 jobs and a third crew for the F-150 and another 1,100 jobs in the fourth quarter of 2013 to build the all-new Ford Transit.

2013 Ford F-150 to Feature HID Forward Lighting - Industry News

<p>Ford and OSRAM collaborated during the pre-production phase and tested for standards to ensure the headlights still perform well during times of high vibration like one would experience while off-roading.</p>

A high intensity discharge headlamp system (HID) now comes standard on the 2013 F-150 Platinum and Limited editions and is available as an option on the FX2, FX4, Raptor, Lariat and King Ranch models.
