Chrysler to Recall More than 430,000 SUVs in the U.S.

Chrysler Group will recall approximately 181,000 SUVs in the U.S. to prevent premature wear to a transmission oil cooler line. The automaker will also recall approximately 254,400 SUVs in the U.S. to upgrade software that controls restraint-system function in certain types of accidents.

GM Announces Maintenance Plan for 2014 Models

<p><span>For most 2014 vehicles, Chevrolet, Buick, and GMC dealers will complete an oil and filter change, four-wheel tire rotation, and conduct a 27-point vehicle inspection based on what&rsquo;s called for in the vehicle owner&rsquo;s manual maintenance schedule and oil life monitoring system.</span></p>

Customers who purchase or lease an eligible new 2014 Chevrolet, Buick, or GMC car, truck, or crossover in the U.S. will be covered by a new maintenance program that includes certain scheduled services for two years or 24,000 miles, whichever occurs first.

Gas Prices Stay Steady Across U.S., Still High in Great Lakes States

AAA’s latest Fuel Gauge Report shows little movement since last week in the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline, nearly unchanged at $3.62 on June 3. This price is still 10 cents more than it was a month ago, and three cents higher than it was on June 3 last year.
