VIA Motors’ gasoline-electric hybrid Chevrolet Silverado is now being shipped to fleet customers after receiving emissions certification from the California Air Resources Board (CARB) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), a company spokesperson said.

The electrified Silverado has a 40-mile battery range on a single charge and unlimited extended range, averaging upwards of 100 mpg in typical daily driving, according to VIA. Its powertrain includes a 16-gallon fuel tank that delivers an additional 400 miles of generated electric driving.

VIA previously received EPA and CARB certification for its eREV gasoline-electric hybrid van last fall.
