FCA US has added several updates to its Ram ProMaster full-size van for the 2016 model year, including optional side windows for airport and hotel shuttle fleet operators.

The windows will be available on the largest model of the passenger van with the 159-inch chassis, high roof and extended configuration.

The 2016 ProMaster will also add a chrome grille package to allow executive transportation companies to provide a more upscale appearance. The ProMaster will also offer more electrical function and capability for power hungry conversions, including a second battery at the rear of the cab and new 20-amp auxiliary switches that are accessible on the dash panel.

The Ram ProMaster City compact van returns for 2016 as a carry-over model that formally replaces the now-discontinued Ram C/V Tradesman mid-size van.

The 2016 ProMaster City now offers Bluetooth on entry-level radios. Carpet has been upgraded from to 16 ounce from 11 ounce. The compact van also features a tire upgrade to 215/55R16 Nexen all-season tires that offer improved performance and lower rolling resistance.
