Audi of America, Inc. has announced November sales results of 6,556 vehicles, a 9.9 percent increase over the same month last year, when sales were 5,971. These results mark Audi's best November in the company's history. Audi will soon break its all-time sales record of 74,061 that was set in 1985. With only 1,130 units away, the company estimates to surpass the record within the first 15 days in December. Year-to-date sales are 72,932 versus 59,480, an increase of 22.6 percent. With the first full month of availability the new Audi allroad Quattro, a crossover vehicle offering customers both on- and off-road performance, Audi reported sales of 441 for November. Audi's TT posted major monthly sales gains with November sales of 1,083, up 101.7 percent over last year's sales of 537. From the A6 range, sales were 2,118, down 8 percent over the same month last year when sales totaled 2,303. The Audi A4 reported sales of 2,753 for the month, down 4.6 percent. Audi's all-aluminum flagship A8 reported total sales of 160. In November, the A8 L accounted for 85.6 percent of all A8 sales, according to company officials.
