Chevrolet's Web site, (www.chevrolet.com) took the No. 1 spot for top automotive manufacturer site in December among home Web surfers, according to Nielsen//NetRatings. The site generated 573,000 unique visitors. Ford's site (www.ford.com) drew 528,000 unique visitors, followed by General Motors (www.gmbuypower.com), which attracted 367,000 unique visitors. Toyota (www.toyota.com) saw 264,000 unique visitors and Daimler Chrysler (www.daimlerchrysler.com) had 228,000 unique visitors in December.
