January 16, 2002

ExxonMobil on Jan. 16 announced the rollout of a new product which it says will allow existing ExxonMobil Fleet accounts to view transaction details, run queries, and perform account maintenance via the Internet. “With ExxonMobil Fleet Online, fleet managers will no longer have to wait for monthly reports, but will be able to see driver, vehicle and transaction data right from their desktops,” said Susan Johnson, commercial vehicles business manager. “They will also be able to run customized queries to meet their individual reporting needs with all results encrypted and password protected for complete security.”According to Johnson, ExxonMobil Fleet Online is backed by a powerful data warehouse that stores up to 13 months of account data so fleet managers can study purchasing trends and patterns. “We believe that fleet managers will find ExxonMobil Fleet Online an invaluable tool for running their business,” she said. The new product will be accessible through the Web site. The ExxonMobil Fleet card is issued by GE Capital Corp.
