@Road Releases Hands Free Cable to Enhance the iLM 2000i

@Road, a provider of location-enhanced wireless Internet solutions for mobile resource management (MRM), announced Jan. 11 the release of the Hands Free Cable to connect an iLM 2000i to the Nextel Hard Install Kit. Nextel subscribers can now use their phones in a hands-free mode while still supporting the @Road service. The Hands Free Cable by @Road is compatable with the Hard Install Kit supporting the Nextel i500plus, i550plus and i700plus phones.

According to the company, the @Road solutions enable commercial users to locate, manage and communicate with mobile workers, assets and vehicles. The @Road LocationSmart technology platform combines wireless, positioning and XML technologies to provide easy-to-use end-to-end solutions for managing the movement and flow of company employees, goods, services and vehicles. The Web-based features available to Nextel subscribers include location, dispatch, productivity reporting, location-based business intelligence and vehicle maintenance scheduling.

The Hands Free Cable by @Road starts at $75 each. Pricing does not include the Nextel Hard Install Kit, Nextel phones or @Road service.
