Chrysler Group will introduce 11 new vehicles by 2004, group president and CEO Dieter Zetsche said March 15. Zetsche told the National Press Club that the new vehicles are part of the company's five-year, $30 billion investment plan in new products, according to an Associated Press report. According to Zetsche, Chrysler is working with Mitsubishi on several platform-sharing arrangements that will produce new products. "They will be true to their American brands with an even more appealing American characteristic -- a lower overall cost," Zetsche said.
