Televoke, a telematics software company, announced Mar. 4 at the Digital Car Conference that it has selected WirelessCar, a provider of telematics infrastructure services, to deliver transaction-based billing systems so Televoke business partners can address the billing needs of enterprise and fleet customers.

According to the company, the WirelessCar billing system, t-Bill, already in use by multiple Telematics Service Providers, will provide a new value-added service that will allow Televoke and its business partners to provide more detailed accounting and transaction-based usage models required in many enterprise and high-end consumer services.

"Flexibility in billing is critical for Televoke and its partners to stay ahead in a competitive marketplace," said Bob Kimball, CEO of Televoke. "WirelessCar provides the best of both worlds to help Televoke maintain its competitive edge -- a flexible, sophisticated billing system, as well as comprehensive knowledge and experience in the telematics industry."

Through more detailed subscriber information, the WirelessCar system will help Televoke and its partners to easily offer new and differentiated service offerings. The system will also help optimize network performance and maximize profitability through improved revenue assurance, according to Televoke.

"We are delighted to be working with Televoke, a leader in telematics services, particularly in the U.S. telematics aftermarket," said Gary Hallgren, COO of WirelessCar. "We look forward to working with them as they move into other applications and international markets."
