Ford, Chrysler Getting Lift From Big Trucks

DaimlerChrysler and Ford Motor Co. seem to be discovering that the most profitable vehicles may still be big, traditional trucks: the new 2002 Dodge Ram pickup and 2003 Ford Expedition sport utility. Both manufacturers have introduced their trucks in the last six months and both are watching as their 5,000-pound trucks sell record numbers in Texas.
