Teletrac, Inc., a provider of metro fleet location information systems, announced Sept. 18 the availability of FleetDirector On-Site, a new analytical
reporting feature for its flagship FleetDirector product. The On-Site
enhancement provides customized reports that detail fleet activity at
specific job sites, enabling fleet owners to better determine and manage the
productivity of their drivers and vehicles, according to the company.
Teletrac's FleetDirector is a wireless information system that gives
real-time information on the location of metro commercial vehicle fleets.
The On-Site enhancement to FleetDirector adds reporting
capabilities that allow fleet managers to input customer, supplier and
business locations for monitoring, tracking and efficiency management.
On-Site's reports show fleet managers how much time vehicles spend at and
traveling to each location, helping them to determine how to best direct
their resources. On-Site reports can be accessed from any Windows-based PC
connected to the Internet.
"Our new On-Site feature gives fleet owners the tools for examining the
components of their operation that are most critical," said Tony Eales, CEO
of Teletrac, Inc. "By providing detailed reports on every aspect of the job,
from the route the vehicle took to the amount of time it was stationary,
On-Site helps fleet owners determine how to increase productivity, revenue
and customer service more than ever before."
According to the company, FleetDirector On-Site can be fully integrated into the FleetDirector eClient
feature, which allows fleet owners and managers to see the status of their
vehicles live on screen. Each location inputted into On-Site can be
displayed on a separate eClient map. Maps can be programmed to change color
to indicate the status of the location, i.e. whether the vehicle is on site
or the job has been completed.
