Teletrac Announces New Reporting Feature to Help Fleet Owners Manage Resources

Teletrac, Inc., a provider of metro fleet location information systems, announced Sept. 18 the availability of FleetDirector On-Site, a new analyticalreporting feature for its flagship FleetDirector product. The On-Siteenhancement provides customized reports that detail fleet activity atspecific job sites, enabling fleet owners to better determine and manage theproductivity of their drivers and vehicles, according to the company. Teletrac's FleetDirector is a wireless information system that givesreal-time information on the location of metro commercial vehicle fleets.The On-Site enhancement to FleetDirector adds reportingcapabilities that allow fleet managers to input customer, supplier andbusiness locations for monitoring, tracking and efficiency management.On-Site's reports show fleet managers how much time vehicles spend at andtraveling to each location, helping them to determine how to best directtheir resources. On-Site reports can be accessed from any Windows-based PCconnected to the Internet."Our new On-Site feature gives fleet owners the tools for examining thecomponents of their operation that are most critical," said Tony Eales, CEOof Teletrac, Inc. Each location inputted into On-Site can bedisplayed on a separate eClient map. Maps can be programmed to change colorto indicate the status of the location, i.e. whether the vehicle is on siteor the job has been completed.
