Reynolds and Karmak Announce Hardware Support Agreement

The Reynolds and Reynolds Company has announced a three-year agreement with Karmak, Inc., through which Reynolds has been designated the recommended provider of hardware services for Karmak dealer information systems. Karmak is a provider of computer systems and business management systems in the heavy-duty truck industry. According to the company, the agreement follows the establishment of an alliance between the two companies in November 2002 through which Reynolds and Karmak will cooperate in the distribution of integrated management system solutions to dealers holding both auto and truck franchises. J. Richard Schien, Karmak CEO, said, "We are pleased to extend our alliance with Reynolds through the establishment of this hardware support agreement. Through this agreement, Karmak will be able to offer its customers the services of hardware support professionals with considerable dealership experience and smarts. Knowing how dealerships operate can make a vital difference in approaching and prioritizing hardware service."
