Saab Cars USA, Inc. (Saab) has announced the 2004 model year Saab Commercial Fleet Program. All new and untitled 2004 Saab models are eligible. This program offers eligible Fleet Customers incentives (known as VX5) based on the following schedule: 9-3 Sport Sedan (except Convertible) - $500
9-3 Convertibles - $500
9-5 Sedan and SportWagon - $2,500
The VX5 will be automatically deducted from the dealer invoice for fleet orders that are factory ordered or delivered from SCUSA port inventory. The VX5 will be paid upon application for vehicles delivered to fleet customers for dealer inventory. To be eligible Fleet Customers must have a valid General Motors Fleet Account Number (FAN). A qualified Fleet Customer is defined as any company that purchases and registers or leases five (5) or more new cars and/or trucks for use in its operations during the current or preceding twelve (12) month period. Fleet orders must include the customer’s name and the General Motors Fleet Identification Number (FAN). In situations where the ordering entity is a Fleet Management Company, the order must include the unique FAN of both the Fleet Management Company and the end user customer. Fleet discounts may not be combined with Saab promotional lease and finance rates and/or other retail programs. Early Order Bonus
Qualified Fleet Customers placing factory orders for 2004 Model Year 9-5 Sedans and SportWagons and 9-3 Sport Sedan models by September 30, 2002, will receive a $1,000 bonus in addition to the appropriate VX5 amount. To be eligible vehicles must be factory ordered. Vehicles taken from Port or Dealer Stock do not qualify. The new 9-3 Convertible is ineligible for this incentive. Orders must be received by the SCUSA Fleet Department by September 30, 2003, and delivered by December 31, 2003. Fleet Customers with a Competitive Assistance Program (CAP) currently in place are not eligible for this incentive unless specifically indicated in the CAP. Courtesy Delivery Fee
In consideration of services rendered in the delivery process, Saab will pay a courtesy delivery fee of $150 as reasonable compensation for the delivering dealer. To qualify, the dealer must be enrolled in the “Saab Fleet Minded Dealer Program.” Enrolled dealer can be found in the “Find a Dealer” area of Saab Fleet Website, www.saabfleet.com. The Courtesy Delivery Fee will be reimbursed directly from Saab to the delivering dealer (1) when the car has been delivered and (2) the delivering dealer submits the appropriate claim form to the Saab Fleet Department. The courtesy delivery fee does not apply to vehicles sold to national rental car accounts. The courtesy delivery dealer will also receive the PDI credit at the delivering dealer’s established labor rate plus the Gas Reserve. Sales Person / Sales Manager / F&I Manager Incentive
To compensate dealership personnel for the professional delivery of commercial fleet vehicles, the Saab Fleet Sales Department will pay: Salesperson, Sales Manager or F&I Manager - $100
Sales Manager or F&I Manager - $50 This incentive is paid only to the salesperson, sales manager, or F&I manager, designated by the delivering dealer, who performs a Courtesy Delivery.
