In this new role, Reynolds will be responsible for enhancing PHH’s position as one of the largest truck and equipment lessors in North America, according to the company. "In addition to a wealth of truck-related knowledge and expertise, Reynolds brings with him a demonstrated record of success in sales and service with several national truck and leasing organizations," the company said in a statement. His role at PHH is part of the company's strategic initiative designed to augment its current medium and heavy truck capabilities to meet the growing truck needs of its clients. PHH said its truck capabilities already have a solid foundation. According to a 2001 Equipment Leasing Association survey, PHH ranked as the 10th largest truck and equipment lessor.
