The Chrysler 300 was awarded first place in the Entry Level Luxury Car segment, and the Dodge Ram Heavy Duty was awarded first place in the Heavy Duty Full Size Pickup Truck segment of the latest J.D. Power and Associates study. The 2004 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout study (APEAL) measures owner delight with the design, content, layout and performance of their new vehicles. The findings are determined by the opinions of more than 103,000 owners of new vehicles. There are 43 all new or redesigned models in the 2004 study, the most launches included in recent years. The Chrysler 300 was voted the "Best Value" in the Entry Luxury segment. Lexus was named the number one manufacturer overall in the study.
