Wheels Inc. Honors Top Remarketers at NAFRD Conference

September 12, 2006 - Press Release

Wheels, Inc., a leader in the multi-billion-dollar fleet-leasing industry, recently recognized top regional auto wholesale dealers at the National Association of Fleet Resale Dealers (NAFRD) 22nd annual conference, which took place Sept. 7-10 in Las Vegas. The following honorees received Wheels’ Outstanding Quality Awards:
  • Joe Pye Motor Company, Houston, Texas, Southeast region
  • Gene Pankey Motor Company, Tacoma, Wash., Western region
  • ATC-Onlane, Toronto, Canada, Midwest region. "Our wholesale vendors are an integral part of our multi-channel remarketing strategy. They provide individualized attention to the vehicle selling effort and are always willing to go outside of the normal process when warranted," said Darrin Aiken, Wheels Assistant Vice-President of Remarketing. Wheels' remarketing network includes 140 carefully chosen vendors, including both auctions and wholesale dealers. The Outstanding Quality Awards recipients are determined by a combination of overall sale performance results as well as customer service and flexibility. "We are able to monitor sales results by vendors through performance scorecards, benchmarking and site visits, with our regional teams providing input on the overall service components," Aiken explained. "The award recipients have demonstrated a focus on top-quality sales and services delivery that raises standards industry-wide. It’s a privilege to recognize and honor their achievements."About Wheels, Inc.
