AutoWeek Announces Readers' Choice Awards

Among all car magazine readers, AutoWeek readers spend more time reading each issue than do readers of any monthly publication and on average own 6.6 cars, according to research by J.D. Power and Associates. This data proves that readers are well qualified to judge the best of vehicles on the market, according to AutoWeek.For six weeks, AutoWeek asked readers and those who visited the autoweek.com Web site to identify which of all the cars, trucks and sport/utility vehicles sold in the United States are worthy to be called tops in class. AutoWeek identified nine categories with a total of 273 nameplates represented. The AutoWeek Readers’ Choice winners are:
  • Best Exotic — Bugatti Veyron
  • Best Sports Car — Chevrolet Corvette
  • Best Luxury Car — Audi A8L
  • Best Coupe/Convertible — BMW 6 Series
  • Best Sedan — BMW 3 Series
  • Best People Mover/SUV — Honda Odyssey
  • Best Truck — Ford F-Series
  • Best Economy Car — Audi A3
  • Best First New Car — Honda Civic
