East Central Energy Selects Dossier for Northern Minnesota Utility Fleet

March 15, 2007

BURLINGTON, N.J. – East Central Energy, a Minnesota-based utility company, has implemented Dossier maintenance management software for its fleet of utility and service vehicles. East Central Energy is a member-owned electric cooperative providing electric, Internet, and long-distance services in east central Minnesota and northwestern Wisconsin. The company serves more than 56,000 customers in 12 counties and operates a fleet of 185 vehicles, including vans, cars, SUVs, and large utility trucks.Dossier is particularly suited for utility fleets because the equipment aboard some company vehicles also needs to be tracked by the maintenance department. East Central uses Wright Express fleet cards for fuel purchases. Dossier will enable technicians at East Central’s primary maintenance facility in Braham, Minn., to easily track time and check work orders. Access on laptop computers will also enable them to see complete vehicle histories.
