Google, Yahoo and MapQuest have taken into account the temporary closures due to the destroyed portions of the MacArthur Maze and now recommend alternate routes between the East Bay and San Francisco, The Argus reports. Yahoo almost immediately posted updated information online, marking closures at the connecting ramps from westbound Interstate 80 to southbound Interstate 880 and from eastbound I-80 to westbound Interstate 580 with red hazard signs on its live traffic feature.
