Serves the Commercial Small Fleet Market of 10 – 50 Vehicles Lists 10 Safe Models for Under $25,000

August 23, 2007 has released its list of top 10 safe vehicles for less than $25,000. The company focused vehicular safety in two areas: accident prevention and crashworthiness. Factors such as handling, braking performance, and stability control play into the first; airbags, chassis deformation, and crumple zones the second.The units were required to include stability control and a minimum of six airbags (front and side curtain). On some units, officials said the safety features were not standard; however, even with them added, the cost came in less than $25,000. The top 10 vehicles are: 2008 Saturn Astra
