Toyota Yaris Gets First Portable Nav Unit Option

TomTom NV said at the Frankfurt Auto Show last week that the Toyota Yaris will have as an option a TomTom portable navigation device (PND) as part of the vehicle's built-in radio system.A world first, the PND will be embedded into the radio system in the dashboard, with full radio integration with the car's speakers.Other benefits include map and software updates, portability, and access to TomTom’s content and services via TomTom HOME. TomTom HOME is a free software application that enables users to manage, download, store and transfer content from their computer onto their TomTom device.
