Networkcar, a provider of wireless vehicle management, recently announced the appointment of Tamara Chamberlin to vice president of indirect distribution. Chamberlin has extensive experience in leading and building indirect distribution in the wireless industry. Most recently, she served as the west region general manager for Clearwire, a Craig McCaw wireless Internet start up. In her previous position, Chamberlin operated in a general manager capacity and was responsible for the strategic direction of existing Clearwire markets in California as well as launch plans for upcoming markets. Before Clearwire, she served in director level roles for almost all distribution channels at Sprint Nextel, where she managed channels at the field, market and region levels. Due to her vastly diversified channel experience, Chamberlin brings strong leadership in developing and executing an integrated channel strategy to Networkcar. “I have worked with Tamara Chamberlin for many years in prior positions and am very familiar with her channel knowledge and capabilities,” says Keith Schneider, president of Networkcar. “She is a strong asset and will bring a wealth of fresh ideas and perspective to my team. We are pleased to have her onboard and look forward to our bright future together.” Chamberlin acquired a bachelor of arts in telecommunications from Texas Tech University. She also participated in the Strategy Business Leadership Certificate program at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
