UPS Driver Surpasses 1 Million Miles in His Truck

CROCKETT, TEXAS – UPS driver Brett Boyd has hit his 22nd anniversarywith the company, as well as 1,000,000 miles driven, according to www.ktre.com.According to a UPS source, the fact that the same delivery truck has been withthe same driver for more than two decades is something UPS has never seenbefore.

Boyd said that the companywanted to retire his vehicle and give him a new truck a few months ago, but herefused, knowing he was close to hitting the 1 million mark.

Currently, his route is about 220miles round trip, and Boyd plans to keep driving his truck as long as it canrun. As of now, UPS has no plans to retire Boyd’s truck.
