NETS Drive Safely Work Week 2012 Materials Available for Free Download
Drive Safely Work Week 2012, sponsored by Network of Employers for Traffic Safety (NETS), is October 1-5. This year's theme is Back to Basics — Your Keys to Safe Driving.
The campaign will focus on issues important for building and maintaining a safe-driving foundation, such as always buckling up, being well-rested and clear-headed, and eliminating distractions. Also included in this year's campaign are tips and activities to assist in safe parking and backing.
In addition, the materials include ways to avoid rear-end collisions — one of the most common types of crashes experienced by fleet drivers, teen drivers and the general population.
The campaign tool kit will be available for download at no charge via the NETS website in early August. www.trafficsafety.org
