Toyota is adding a standard back-up camera and 7-inch touch screen its Corolla for the 2017 model year.

To mark the 50th anniversary of Corolla sales, the compact car will add a sportier look with LED headlights. The base Corolla L will add a back-up camera, making the feature standard across the model line. The Corolla will also add the available Toyota Safety Sense-P safety system that bundles a pre-collision system with pedestrian detection, lane departure alert with steering assist, dynamic radar cruise control and automatic high beams.

Lastly, redesigned 16-inch wheels are standard on the LE and XLE, while the SE and XSE step up into standard 17-inch alloy wheels.

Toyota will also sell a limted Corolla SE 50th Anniversary Special Edition model with the Black Cherry Pearl exterior color.
