In an attempt to better serve fleet customers, BP has announced the arrival of its improved fleet credit card programs.

These programs will offer enhanced features and benefits including online capabilities and credit card acceptance at over 15,000 BP and Amoco locations nationwide. These programs, available November, 2001, will be especially important to business customers requiring expanded geographic coverage.

Part of the new fleet programs includes the issuance of new cards. Current Amoco Transicard and FleetManager II customers will be receiving their new BP BusinessPlus cards in November, 2001, while current Amoco Business Card and Fleet Manager I customers will receive their new BP Business cards in January, 2002. The BP Business card will offer fleet customers revolving credit and easy-to-read reports while the BP BusinessPlus card offers a 3-month free trial offer, enhanced reporting, and a rebate program.

To accompany the roll-out of the new BP fleet cards, BP customer service hours are being extended. The new hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (CST).

BP fleet customers will be able to access their accounts online at as early as November, 2001. Fleet customers can then download reporting, create customized reports and change card options. In addition, e-billing will be available in January, 2002.
