Following the launch of the 2015 Colorado mid-size pickup at the Los Angeles Auto Show, General Motors is turning its attention to the January launch of the 2015 Canyon, its GMC cousin.

The truck could debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit from Jan. 13-14. The automaker hasn't given many details about the 2015 Canyon. Alan Batey, senior vice president of Chevrolet, told the Detroit Free Press that "we're going to really differentiate" the two vehicles.

The trucks mark GM's return to the mid-size pickup segment and revival of two models that were discontinued in 2012, reports Fox Business.

With the trucks, GM will now offer three sizes of pickups with the Silverado HD, Silverado 1500, and the two mid-size offereings.
