Ford Motor Co.’s recall of 592 2015 model-year Transit cargo vans in the U.S. should get under way on Sept. 22, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration reports.

Ford’s number for this recall is 14S16. The recall covers vans that might have been manufactured without epoxy reinforcement on the windowless sliding doors. As a result, the sliding door may be at a greater risk of unlatching during a side-impact crash.

The recall, originally reported last month, involves Transit cargo vans without rear seating positions. They were manufactured March 12 through June 24 of last year.
