The 2015-MY Chevrolet Cruze has been awarded the 2014 Fleet Car of the Year.

Sponsored by Automotive Fleet and Business Fleet magazines, the purpose of the award is to promote excellence in the fleet industry, particularly the tools and vehicles that allow fleet managers to fulfill their missions. Vehicles were voted on by qualified fleet professionals via an online ballot.

The 2015 Chevrolet Cruze captured the most votes among 48 cars selected for this year's competition. This is the first time the Cruze has received the annual award.

“The award means a great deal to us. Having your readers say that we have the best fleet vehicle out there is really, really strong for us. This is a huge award for us,” said Ed Peper, U.S. vice president fleet and commercial sales.
