General Motors will be issuing replacement labels that provide tire rim size information for 2015 model-year Buick Encore and Chevrolet Trax vehicles, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said.

The new labels will be mailed to owners of 19,831 Buick Encores and Chevrolet Trax vehicles that lack such federally required information about the rim size for front or rear wheels. This safety recall will help prevent the vehicle owner from mistakenly replacing the rims with ones that are the wrong size, NHTSA said.

The recall affects Buick Encore SUVs manufactured from Aug. 26, 2014, to Feb. 9 of this year, along Chevrolet Trax SUVs manufactured from Oct. 13, 2014, to Feb. 3 of this year.

Vehicle owners can reach Buick customer service at (800) 521-7300, and Chevrolet customer service at (800) 222-1020. GM's number for this recall is 15166.
