FCA US is updating its Uconnect infotainment system to include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with select 2016 models, the company announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The fourth-generation Uconnect system will also offer capacitive touchscreens with improved responsiveness, performance improvements to improve startup time, enhanced processing power, and the updated Uconnect 8.4 NAV system.
FCA showed the new system at the tech trade show, along with its law enforcement Uconnect system for police fleets that was announced in September.
