Subaru will offer new trim grades of its Outback CUV and Legacy mid-size sedan for the 2017 model year with enhanced safety, styling, and comfort features including reverse automatic braking.

The Outback Touring and Legacy Sport will offer reverse auto braking and high beam assist when they arrive this summer. The Outback Touring adds a Java Brown interior, while the Legacy Sport offers standard 18-inch wheels and fog lights.

Reverse automatic braking helps a driver avoid a possible collision when the vehicle is moving in reverse.

Outback Touring models are available with the 2.5L,175-hp, 4-cylinder or 3.6L, 256-hp, 6-cylinder engine.

The Legacy Sport offers styling features such as a dark gray front grille, fog lights with gloss black housings, and newly designed 18-inch sport-styled wheels. Chrome-accented rocker trim and high luster silver-finished turn-signal mirrors further emphasize the sleek look of this new trim level.
