Jaguar has begun testing its I-Pace battery-electric luxury crossover on the streets of London and plans to introduce the vehicle in 2018, according to the company.

Earlier this month, Jaguar vehicle testers drove the vehicle around London's Olympic Park neighborhood. Jaguar will reveal the vehicle in late 2017.

Jaguar has provided a few details about the all-wheel-drive I-Pace, including that it will accelerate from 0-60 mph in four seconds. It's expected to provide more than 300 miles of range (500 kilometers) and will be powered by a 90 kilowatt per hour lithium-ion battery. The vehicle should be able to attain an 80% charge in 90 minutes using 50-kilowatt DC charging.
