General Motors Fleet & Commercial Operations held its 2009 Product Preview at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas May 5-9. Approximately 800 fleet customers attended and had the opportunity to test drive 170 GM vehicles.

New 2009 models revealed to fleet customers included:

  • Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid.
  • Saturn AURA Hybrid.
  • GMC Yukon Hybrid.
  • Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid.
  • Chevrolet Silverado Hybrid.
  • GMC Sierra Hybrid.
  • Chevrolet Traverse.
  • Chevrolet Aveo5.
  • Pontiac Vibe.
  • Chevrolet Corvette ZR1.
  • Chevrolet HHR Panel SS.
  • Hummer H3T.
  • G4500 Cutaway Van.

During the two preview sessions, pro  football legend, Howie Long, defense end for the, and Duke University’s basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski interacted with customers.

GM shared 2009 marketing and product strategies during the preview’s business session. In addition, GM provided attendees with insight regarding its fuel economy and future advanced propulsion technologies. To demonstrate these capabilities, customers had the opportunity to drive a hydrogen-powered Chevrolet Equinox during the Ride and Drive.
