A fleet vehicle figured prominently in a 1913 advertisement for the Alkire-Naylor Cigar Co. of Salt Lake City, Utah, purveyors of the the Flor de Baltimore, "The peer of Havana cigars" as it proudly proclaims.

As this photo illustrates, fleet vehicles covered with bold designs have acted as rolling billboards for companies large and small for over a century.

Work Truck eNews will be featuring historic images of fleet trucks on a regular basis. If you have an historic fleet truck image you'd like to share with readers, e-mail it to Lauren Fletcher or Chris Wolski.
