Chevrolet's 2019 chassis cab trucks have taken a design cue from the Camaro sports car, by incorporating the so-called "flowtie" badge into the front grille, according to General Motors.

The badge — the traditional chrome-outlined bowtie logo with the center removed — will appear on the 4500HD, 5500HD, and 6500HD medium-duty trucks. The design cue improves performance by allowing increased engine airflow to help keep engine fluid temperatures low.

The flowtie was first introduced on the 2014 Camaro Z/28 and is now standard on the 2018 Camara ZL1. Chevrolet introduced its new trucks in early March at the Work Truck Show.
