Fleet FAQ? Fleet Management & Leasing

Q. Which pieces of data do we need to examine when evaluating our lifecycle strategy?

A. Using your fleet’s own data to create benchmarks that can then be referred to over time is the gold standard, and this data should cover the entire vehicle lifecycle. Ultimately, several types of data must be gathered in order to get a comprehensive picture of a vehicle’s lifecycle. A few examples of areas where fleet managers can glean data are telematics, fuel cards, and maintenance records. Industry averages and standards can also provide a streamlined and useful starting point.
