Fleet FAQ

Fleet FAQ? Fuel Management

Q. Fuel fraud affects the fleet industry. How can companies keep fraud under control at fuel stations?

A. Applications such as DriverDash, the evolution of fleet fuel cards that came out last summer, create controls that can reduce fraud incidences and other problems that can occur as a result of fuel transactions.

Companies that use WEX fuel cards are also helping to prevent fraud, as they give fleet managers the capability to successfully monitor their fleet. And our ClearView technology makes it easy for businesses to spot red flags. In capturing and analyzing data such as fuel costs or levels, fleet managers can make sure drivers didn’t fill up additional tanks and weren’t overcharged. This type of flexibility represents the future of mobile payments, as it offers more security and management of the fueling process, even on the go.
